I loved watching Bugs Bunny as a kid. Heck, I still love it!
I am just coming out of a very bad pain and fatigue flareup which included migraine headaches and debilitating exhaustion. It has truly been months, maybe even years, since my husband has seen any of my former whit.
We were joking about something tonight (I wish I could remember what, but that part of me is still under repair) and I blurted out in my best Yosemite Sam -
Stop breathin' on me you idgit!
My husband stopped in his tracks, looked at me and said "You couldn't have talked with that kind of energy a few months ago." I had no idea that even my ability to do something as simple as joke around had been so badly compromised.
It felt great to be able to be silly again, even if just for a moment
What sorts of things make you laugh, or even smile? I completely understand that even too much laughter can trigger a bad fatigue flareup. Smiles are great too (you can imagine yourself belting out your best belly laugh on the inside). What were your favorite cartoons as a kid? Queue them up on Netflix or YouTube and have a cartoon day!
