Happiness is an organized room!
It is in my world anyway. I have never liked clutter and spent much of my life as a minimalist, both at home and at work. Then I married a pack-rat (love you hun), then I got sick, then the chaos began.
Since developing ME-CFS, my brain gets easily overwhelmed. When faced with an unending sea of clutter, my brain shuts down - I can't think clearly. I actually find it stressful! This is an evil combination for anyone dealing with chronic illness.
You have no idea how happy this bookcase made me. All the books you see were crammed into the little night table on the left, with the overflow strewn all over my dresser and computer table. As I moved all these books to the bookshelves, imagine my delight when I found books I had been searching for for months, and ones I had forgotten about all together!

While we can't rely on things to make us happy, there are ways we can certainly help make our lives a bit easier and joyful. Do you like to be organized? What have you found helpful? How does it affect your health?
Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. James 5:13
